The Tour of Hope 2009. Starting this Sunday, May 24, 2009
A total of 68 bikers (mostly women) will be cycling for 5 days, from Muntinlupa to Camarines Sur to spread the word on cervical cancer prevention.

This year's theme: XXX: Dare to be Bold highlights three Xs in our advocacy, that is to eXpose the truth, eXceeding your limit, and eXclaiming your right to life, honoring the brave struggles that cervical cancer patients, survivors and their families face.

I'd like to invite you to join us for the first leg of the tour, which is a 70km bike ride from Muntinlupa City Hall to Tagaytay via Amadeo. Assembly time is at 6am, kick-off program starts at 6:30am, and we leave at exactly 7:00am. We will have police escorts and support vehicles.

No need to pay reg fees for those joining this leg alone. You can support the advocacy by donating any amount, and or buying jerseys for Php750.00 which will be sold at the kick-off, or by simply just riding with us. All proceeds will go to the Cancer Institute Foundation - Cervical Cancver Prevention Network (CIF-CECAP).

P.S. To go to Muntinlupa City Hall - from Makati take South Super Highway, exit at Susana Heights, make a right from the toll booth, and when you get to the first stoplight, turn left. Just go straight and you will see the city hall on the left side of the road.
